I don't really know much about cars
I was recommended this place by a local mechanic when I was trying to get my air system fixed (nothing was working, defrosters, AC, heater).
I don't really know much about cars, but these guys were really nice and helpful with it! I was so afraid they'd be the shady types who'd find a million things wrong with my car just to get more money in their pockets. I just wanted my air fixed for a reasonable price and that's exactly what they did. They were quick about it too.
If I have any future problems, I'll definitely come back to them!

We were leaving San Francisco
We were leaving San Francisco late in the afternoon to drive back home to L.A. when we noticed smoke coming out of our radiator. We called the Auto Club for a tow truck, and checked Yelp for a radiator repair shop. We chose Alouis, spoke to Todd, and he agreed to do the job ASAP so we could still make it back to L.A. He finished the job sooner than promised, at a lower price than I expected, and with a few corny jokes thrown in. (He said we needed a new Flux Capacitor, a shop inside joke.) He definitely turned a potentially bad experience into a pleasant story.

My wife and I are from Minnesota and we were visiting San Francisco. The AC compressor on our car went faulty. We called them very late in the afternoon. Todd stayed past closing time (5:00 PM) in order to look at the car. He confirmed it was the compressor. He then helped us locate lodging for the night. We brought the car in at 8:00 AM the next morning. It was done by 12:00 noon. While our car was being fixed he suggested a place to eat breakfast and places to sight see. Now that the car was fixed we were on our way to San Jose. He looked on the Internet to suggest the best way to get there so we could avoid as much traffic as possible. Repair pricing was in line to what we would have to pay in Minnesota. Even though something went wrong with our car, we never felt helpless after getting the car to ALOUIS.
